Reiki Treatment

Reiki can be a huge benifit for you and yor staff, in our opinion it is one of the greatest stress buster's around.  Many companies, both large and small use Reiki for their staff to keep stress levels to a minimum.  We are able to offer you this service in house or at our consulation rooms in Crediton Devon.  

Teresa is a qualified and very experienced Reiki Master/Teacher. Having practiced and taught Reiki at her European School of Reiki for both corporate and private individuals for many years, she is well respected Internationally. What is Reiki?

Reiki is a natural, holistic non-invasive stress reduction system used by the Tibetan monks 2,500 years ago and re-discovered by Dr Mikao Usui at the beginning of the last century. Reiki, meaning Universal life force energy, promotes and accelerates the body's own natural healing abilities.

Reiki energy can produce feelings of profound peace and relaxation, relieving conditions such as stress, depression, anxiety and insomnia and many more. Reiki helps reduce or eliminate pain and accelerates the healing of cuts, sprains, broken bones and sports injuries. Many chronic complaints and serious illnesses have been alleviated, sometimes dramatically. Reiki brings balance and harmony to the physical body and helps emotional and spiritual disorders.

The increasing popularity of Reiki is a good indication of the large number of people who have already found benefit from this gentle, peaceful, relaxing therapy.

What happens in a Reiki treatment?

Before any Reiki treatment you will be asked a few simple questions relating to your health, the answers to which are held in strict confidence. Reiki is carried out with you fully clothed. Spectacles, watch and shoes are the only items which need to be removed during treatment.

Treatment is carried out with closed eyes and silence (except for relaxing music). Teresa will place her hands either on or above your body - whichever you are happier with.

Very often a feeling or warmth can be felt from Teresa’s hands. Some people go into such a relaxed state that they feel they have only been receiving treatment for a few minutes whereas in fact a full treatment usually takes approximately an hour.
